While Visit Sandwood offers a wealth of on-site amenities, venturing out allows you to experience our fantastic local communities. Here’s a quick guide to essential services in Oldshoremore and Kinlochbervie:
- Groceries: Stock up on supplies for your adventure. Kinlochbervie boasts a well-equipped store, Bervie Stores offering groceries, hardware, and even fishing tackle (perfect for exploring the coast). In addition there is a SPAR in Kinlochbervie and also London Stores just a couple of kilometres before the village, both offering basic groceries.
- Fuel Up: No need to worry about running on empty. A petrol station is situated in Kinlochbervie at Bervie Stores Filling Station.
- Electric Vehicle Charging: While Visit Sandwood doesn’t currently offer on-site EV charging, a public charging station is conveniently located at 5 Bervie Rd. in Kinlochbervie, operated by the ChargePlace Scotland network.
- Healthcare: Should you require medical attention, a health centre is available in Kinlochbervie which is open several days of the week.
- Parking: Exploring the area is easy with ample public parking available in Kinlochbervie at the Loch Clash Campervan Stopover, Oldshoremore Car Park & Toilets, Blairmore Car Park and more around the area.
